The storytelling patterns on both of the aprons feature a vast range of my hand painted nature illustrations which you can discover in the woodland throughout the year. The dense patterns covering the aprons will disguise any stains that might not come off in the wash. An apron set makes the ideal Christmas gift for couples who are foodies and enjoy cooking and entertaining together, adding a touch of festive charm to their kitchen.

The Woodland Shrooms and A Woodland Walk aprons are made from a strong, durable cotton fabric. The weave of the cotton is loose enough to allow the fabric to absorb liquids when you quickly need to wipe your hands while you are cooking. The storytelling busy patterns easily will disguise any stains that might not come off in the wash, so your Woodland aprons will stay beautiful for a long time. Each cotton apron has adjustable neck straps which means it will fit nicely for people of different heights. Having a closer look at the finishing of these gorgeous cotton aprons, you will notice that the edges are neatly hemmed with a double hem so that the fabric does not fray. Flipping the aprons on their backs, you can find a care label and my signature AMPellegrini Art & Design label sewn in near the straps.
The woodland- and mushroom-inspired aprons would make the perfect Christmas gift for a couple who loves spending long hours in nature and enjoys cooking together in the evenings. All of the illustrations for the woodland aprons have been hand painted and developed into a print design by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I mainly work from my studio in East London, in the UK. My background in textile design engineering means that the quality of the materials and the print are at the core of my practice. Combining bold and storytelling print designs with durable and functional textiles was the idea behind my British made kitchen textiles range. I work together with en England based textiles manufacturer who prints and makes the aprons to my specifications for me. Over the past few years we have developed a great business relationship and both are keen to support the economy in the UK.

My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your apron lasts you for a long time:
wash apron at 40 degrees
let it air dry
(steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat from the back side
do not use bleach
do not excessively wring the tea towel
Please note: if you decide to wash your apron at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off quicker.
